About the producer
Château Micalet
Château Micalet is a small Cru Artisan estate in Cussac-Fort-Médoc and Lamarque in the Haut-Médoc, first recorded in Féret's 'Bordeaux et ses vins' in 1893. Denis Fédieu bought it in 1972, and today brothers Damien and Dominique Fédieu farm about 10 hectares of deep gravel organically (conversion began in the mid-2000s), harvesting by hand and using no oenological additives besides sulfites.
