A Puglia Primitivo that a Dutch retailer says comes from an old, low-yielding vineyard, hand-harvested in the early morning. The wine ages about 4-6 months in oak, which adds vanilla and nutty notes to plum and cherry. It is full-bodied, with dark fruit, a touch of toffee, chocolate and spice.
