Philippe & Arnaud Dubreuil
Savigny-lès-Beaune 2022
Village Savigny-lès-Beaune from vines about 50 years old, hand-picked into small 25 kg crates and sorted both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The domaine ferments in open wooden vats, using a high share of whole clusters in some vintages (75% in 2020), and ages the wine in barrel with a fairly short élevage to keep the fruit forward. Notes on the 2020 describe red cherry, plum and raspberry with black tea, earth and wild herbs on a juicy, poised palate.

About the producer
Philippe & Arnaud Dubreuil
Savigny-lès-Beaune domaine founded in the mid-20th century by Arnaud Dubreuil's grandfather and once known as Dubreuil-Cordier. Arnaud took over from his father Philippe in 2010 and farms about 12.5 hectares in 45 parcels across five villages, including six Savigny premiers crus, Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and a white Corton Grand Cru. The vines are farmed without herbicides or pesticides (HVE certified), and most of the wine is sold directly to private customers.
