Poderi del Paradiso
Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2024
The estate's classic Vernaccia, from 5-35-year-old vines on Pliocene sands at about 280 m, facing southeast below San Gimignano. Pressed with the skins, settled cold and fermented in stainless steel at 15°C, it then rests on fine lees for about two months. Expect citrus, broom and mimosa, herbal and flinty mineral notes, a dry, fresh palate, and the typical bitter-almond finish.

About the producer
Poderi del Paradiso
An organic estate at the foot of San Gimignano with about 30 hectares of vines and some 3,000 olive trees. The Cetti family, prominent in San Gimignano since the Middle Ages, bought Podere Paradiso in 1973; it is run today by Graziella and Vasco Cetti with their son David, the third generation. Besides several Vernaccias, they make Chianti and red blends and run an agriturismo.
