Tenuta Cavalier Pepe
Lacryma Christi Vesuvio Rosso 2021
A volcanic red from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, mostly Piedirosso with some Aglianico. A US retailer calls it light on its feet and good with a slight chill, with smoky red cherry, raspberry and red currant over rocky minerality and fresh acidity, and suggests it for pizza, grilled sausages or meaty fish.
