Tenuta di Tavignano
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore "Villa Torre" 2024
An organic Verdicchio from six hectares of southeast-facing hillside vines on the Tavignano hills, planted in 1992 at about 240-260 m between the Apennines and the Adriatic. It is hand-picked into small crates, fermented cool in steel, and aged six months in tank plus at least two in bottle. Green apple, exotic fruit, broom, hay and sweet almond lead to a juicy, round palate with a lightly bitter finish.
