Villa Rubini
Ribolla Gialla "Vigna Aratorio di Praducello" Biologico 2018
A skin-contact Ribolla Gialla from a single historic vineyard, Vigna Aratorio di Praducello, replanted from old Ribolla vines. It macerates for 7 days with spontaneous fermentation, then rests on its lees for 8 months in oak. Gold-orange in the glass, it shows peach, chestnut honey and ripe apple over a gentle tannic grip, and works with seafood, cheeses and lighter meats. 2018 made 2,660 bottles.

About the producer
Villa Rubini
An organic estate at Spessa, near Cividale del Friuli, in the heart of the Colli Orientali. The Venetian villa was built in 1720 by the de Rubeis family; the Rubini family bought the property in 1814, and Domenico Rubini, an agronomy professor, championed native Friulian grapes such as Ribolla Gialla, Picolit and Schioppettino. The wines are sold under the Villa Rubini and Terre di Praducello names.
