Cavalier Bartolomeo
Langhe Nebbiolo 2020
A fresh, approachable Nebbiolo from the Castiglione Falletto family estate. It macerates for 8 to 10 days in temperature-controlled vats, then ages six months in 500-liter tonneaux before resting in bottle. Ruby red, with floral and fresh-fruit aromas, a hint of wild rose and soft, balanced tannins.

About the producer
Cavalier Bartolomeo
Cavalier Bartolomeo is a small family estate in the hamlet of Garbelletto in Castiglione Falletto, about 3 km from the village of Barolo. It is named for patriarch Bartolomeo Borgogno (born 1899), and after five generations it is run by Dario Borgogno with his wife and son Alex. The range centers on Barolo, with the Altenasso, San Lorenzo and Fiasco Riserva bottlings.
