J. Dumangin Fils
Champagne Brut 'M.V. La Cuvée' (formerly 'La Cuvée 17')
Dumangin's multi-vintage Brut blends the three Champagne grapes in roughly equal parts, about 90% of them from the Montagne de Reims. On average half the blend is reserve wine, and the current release draws on reserves back to 2001. It is fermented in stainless steel without malolactic, dosed at 7-8 g/l and aged about three years in bottle. The house describes lemon and strawberry-hull aromas and a fresh, linear, persistent palate.

About the producer
J. Dumangin Fils
Family Champagne house in Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims, making Champagne for more than 130 years. Gilles Dumangin, the fifth generation, has shaped the house style for about two decades, working Premier Cru parcels that are pressed and vinified separately, with no malolactic fermentation since 2012. The house also makes Ratafia and finishes whiskies in its casks.
