Marramiero
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2023
Marramiero's core Montepulciano, first made in 1994, from estate vineyards with different exposures in the Pescara hills. It ferments in Ganimede and steel tanks with a long maceration, then spends about 18 months across steel, oak vats, casks and barriques before bottling. Deep ruby with a hint of garnet and lingering licorice notes, it is rich, full and harmonious, good with roasts, braised meats and aged cheeses.
