Miro Cellars
Cabernet Sauvignon Hitchcock Vineyard 2022
Cabernet from the steep, windswept Hitchcock Vineyard at about 1,600 feet, on the border of the Chalk Hill and Russian River appellations, with shallow volcanic soils and older vines. Whole-berry native-yeast fermentation and long skin contact produce a dark, concentrated, full-bodied wine with wild berry fruit and firm tannins built for long aging.

About the producer
Miro Cellars
Miro Cellars is the small Sonoma County label of Bulgarian-born winemaker Miro Tcholakov, who trained in enology in Plovdiv, came to Dry Creek Vineyard as a harvest intern in 1990, and has been winemaker at Trentadue since 1998. He released his first Miro Petite Sirah in 2001 and works hands-on with single-vineyard fruit from Dry Creek, Russian River, Chalk Hill, Alexander Valley and Mendocino. The winery is based in Cloverdale and has no tasting room.
