Miro Cellars
Cuvée Sasha 2020
Miro's easygoing Grenache-led red, built on Grenache from Peter Chevalier's small vineyard above Lake Mendocino with a share of Syrah. Fermented cool in stainless steel with a few whole clusters, it shows jammy strawberry, dried cherry, plum and cranberry with dried rose and potpourri, and a fresh, light-footed, food-friendly palate.

About the producer
Miro Cellars
Miro Cellars is the small Sonoma County label of Bulgarian-born winemaker Miro Tcholakov, who trained in enology in Plovdiv, came to Dry Creek Vineyard as a harvest intern in 1990, and has been winemaker at Trentadue since 1998. He released his first Miro Petite Sirah in 2001 and works hands-on with single-vineyard fruit from Dry Creek, Russian River, Chalk Hill, Alexander Valley and Mendocino. The winery is based in Cloverdale and has no tasting room.
