Riccitelli's white house blend: Sauvignon Blanc from limestone soils in Gualtallary, Semillon from a 50-year-old, low-yielding vineyard in El Peral, and Chardonnay from La Carrera at 1,700 m. Each grape is picked and fermented on its own with native yeasts, some in clay amphorae on skins, some in concrete eggs and some in French oak foudres, and a small share ages under flor. Expect green apple, herbal and hay notes with a mineral, energetic palate.

About the producer
Matías Riccitelli
Matías Riccitelli, born in Cafayate (Salta) and son of veteran winemaker Jorge Riccitelli, worked harvests around the world and served as head winemaker at Fabre Montmayou and Norton before founding his own winery in 2009. The bodega is in Las Compuertas, the highest part of Luján de Cuyo, with old ungrafted Malbec there plus mountain vineyards in Gualtallary, Los Chacayes and San Pablo in the Uco Valley, and a Río Negro project in Patagonia since 2015. Fruit is hand-picked, farmed without herbicides, and fermented with native yeasts.
