Domaine Grand Veneur
Côtes du Rhône Rouge 'Grand Veneur' 2023
A Mediterranean-style Côtes du Rhône, mostly from limestone terraces with sand and red clay, made traditionally and aged only in tank for 10-12 months. Purple-garnet, with wild raspberry, blackcurrant and blackberry plus spice, a full palate with silky tannins and a licorice-pepper finish; an everyday red with real depth.

About the producer
Domaine Grand Veneur
Domaine Grand Veneur is the Jaume family's flagship estate, founded in 1979 by Alain and Odile Jaume in the northern sector of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with cellars just outside Orange. The family has grown grapes here since 1826, and the vineyards are farmed organically: shallow ploughing, plant composts, hand leaf-thinning and bunch-by-bunch sorting.
